Microsoft has announced a data corruption bug with Lenova and HP-based systems running Windows 7 OS. This bug is termed as Build 7000. This computer bug is due to the conflict between offline files service and in negotiation with the following storage drivers in Windows 7.
Iastor.sys
Iastorv.sys
You can fix this bug as prescribed by Microsoft by obtaining hotfix files for Windows 7 OS. An alternative method to fix this bug is here
1. Open start menu, enter device manager in search box and press enter.
2. The above step opens device manager, select your disk drive, right click on it and click on properties.
3. At the properties window, select driver tab and check and click on drive details.
4. Check the drivers of your hard drive. If your drivers are any one of the following: Iastor.sys or Iastorv.sys, then open the start menu and type services in the search box.
5. Select the Services with gear icon.
6. Look for offline files from the list of services, then double click on it.
7. Then, disable the service and press ok.
Now you are safe from data corruption bug in Windows 7.
