If there is a question “ how do you search in the net?”, most of the answers are Google. Even though a lot use google to search, but google lack in real time search(not yet provided). Neither Bing nor Yahoo posses real time search. To follow what’s going in the real world, you need a real time search. For a better real time search, Twitter and other sites, brings the latest updated world before you.
Twitter’s own search service
Twitter search service is easy to use and presents the results in a simple and clear way. This service is easy to browse. It can dig deeper into the net. It updates the counter at the top of the page as new tweets that match the search come, but you need to hit link to actually see the updates.
Twitter service has good query builder and appended with some advanced features and you can subscribe your search results through RSS feeds.
On the other side results in Twitter search service sorts results in chronological order. There is no algorithm to manifest most read, most linked, most authoritative, or most re-tweeted items. And it only searches twitter.
Remember Twitter is for special purpose search. There are many other do better job than Twitter search, and several other for special purpose.
